THE SHOT REBOOT Workouts and Video Examples
The purpose of the shot reboot is take your existing shot, strip it back down to basics, and then build it back up with a fundamentally sound and repeatable motion that will help you become a great shooter. These drills are the same drills that the best shooters in the world do everyday to hone their craft. Learning them at a young age will get you way ahead of the game and ensure success on the offensive end of the floor. There is no substitute for good shooting. It's the most sought after skill at all levels. The video tutorials below give drills that make up the workouts in the Shot Reboot.

Shot Reboot WORKOUT 1
*Feel free to substitute makes with shots taken
1) Review of one hand shooting fundamentals
2) One Hand / One Spot drill - 20 times - hit the same spot on the backboard
3) One Hand Shot Build up - 10 makes at 5'; 10 makes at 10'; 10 makes at 15' (30 total makes)
4) One Spot Shooting - Boston Drill - up and down both sides of the key (12 total makes in sets of 2)
5) Roll up Shooting - 10 makes at 5'; 10 makes at 10'; 10 makes at 15' (30 makes)
6) One Spot Shooting - 10 makes on: right elbow, left elbow, right wing, left wing (40 makes)
